In the last month, I have had to resort to using an original remote just twice, when I found I was missing a function. However, each time, the learning ability meant I was able to plug each gap as I came to it.

I’ve recently been having skin problems, particularly on my forehead, where my normal CPAP mask has a silicon pad to support the mask fit. So I wanted to try something totally different.
I had previously purchased a Harmony remote, a year or so back, but it didn’t support the kit I thought it did, so it went back. This time I did a little research and was confident this would do the job.
When this happens, I often think it is me, but I am currently more inclined to think it is the book.
Whether that was true or not, I don’t know, but ended up buying a decent new manual recliner for just 99 quid. The colour was a kind of bright peach, but I didn’t care – I liked it.
Came the tap of a keyboard, the click of a mouse.

I consider myself more of a singer than a guitarist, so for a long time considered myself immune to the game. Then one day I actually counted the 6-strings, 12-strings, strumsticks and ukuleles, not to mention the tenor guitar and guitar banjo, and nearly had a fit.
Apparently not. It is designed by Matt Leacock, designer of Pandemic, and has some similarites. It also has some wonderful Thunderbirds-shaped playing pieces, and a 7.8 ranking on BoardGameGeek. Oh, and did I mention it was by Matt Leacock?
Sometimes I wake up early in the morning, and manage to roll over and go back to sleep. However, I find that the less time I have to catch those extra z’s, sometimes it leaves me feeling more tired than if I had just got up when I woke.
