I spent a little more time with the Bloggie 3D today, experimenting with settings.
In my earlier post, I commented that my first test 3D video was a little shaky. I put this down to it being shot in a bit of a hurry, as it had just started raining.
However, what I have discovered is that while the Bloggie 3D has a stabilization mode when filming normally, this is not available in 3D mode. Which explains why my 3D vidio was shakier than what I had shot earlier in the day in 2D mode.
Now I know this, I can stop puzzling about it, and adapt to compensate. I see most of my 3D filming to be done from a fixed tripod anyway, but I have also seen some small manual stablisation systems that look fun.
