For anyone who is interested, here are some more pictures of the garden, now that the main features are in place. The seating is a somewhat temporary ragbag, until I buy more furniture, but it is plenty good enough for now. The troughs are still yet to be filled and planted. I plan to do one or two of these this weekend, but leave the others until spring – there is only so much that can be usefully planted at this time of year.

Yes, I must get up to see you sometime, but I don’t know when. Weekends are completely booked until Christmas. New Year? I don’t have any plans for NY eve or day. Yet…
Good idea. I have no plans (yet) for New Year, either, but would be happy to host a small gathering here. Whether or not I’ll have a guest room by then is questionable, but if you don’t mind kipping on the sofa, feel free to pencil in New Year’s Eve and Day. Weather permitting, we’ll BBQ on one of those days.
